In this project, I designed a simple building shape but rethought the spatial experience. I utilized simple geometric shapes as the exterior. Architecture is not just about exterior form; it’s about the interaction between people and space. Whether a space is inclusive or exclusive, the spatial language should communicate. In developing a unit with space limitations, I created a continuous living environment without doors, using stairs to delineate different floor plan sections.

Expansive windows in the living room and kitchen areas enhance the sense of open space. The kitchen extends directly onto a patio, seamlessly integrating outdoor living into the design. While the bedroom and restroom are windowless to create more privacy and storage space, natural light enters from above.
